- The word “Amazon” is not a joke or a gimmick. An
Amazon is any woman trained in the fighting arts who
is considered a Warrior. A mother who fights for her
child’s protection is acting as an Amazon....a woman
who fights back in order to avoid being attacked or
raped is an Amazon...ANY woman who fights for the
Greater Good and stands up for what she believes in is
an Amazon. Amazons are not a semi-forgotten
myth....for I am one! And I earned the right to call
myself one!
- Amazons are a Sisterhood. Members of Amazon Nation
will help one another whenever possible to learn
techniques and bond as women. Discussion of techniques
are permitted, but unsupervised sparring is not.
Once an Amazon has reached the rank of Green Belt
(third level) She can spar with another of equal or
lower rank. But She and her sparring partner assumes
all risk. Amazons beneath Green Belt are not
permitted to spar unsupervised (e-camera supervision
is permitted during computer class time).
THE OATH

I am an Amazon and call myself one proudly. As an
Amazon I vow to:
Protect my Sisters and the name “Amazon”.
- Foster pride in being a woman and celebrating our
strengths as a sex and a People.
- Respect other beliefs (either social or Religious)
and celebrate Diversity.
- Fight for the Greater Good in all Things.
- Respect the Founder of Amazon Nation and respect
her experience as a Teacher and Leader. This does not
mean not to question her, it only means to question
with respect and listen to the answer.
- If a dispute arises between two Amazons, the
Founder of Amazon Nation will arbitrate. If the
dispute concerns Xena, an arbitrator that both parties
agree to will be chosen to arbitrate.
- Share my knowledge and experience with others.

to follow the Amazon Code to the
best of my abilities.
